This week’s spotlight performance is shined upon St. Ed’s running back Brandon White as his three touchdowns in the fourth quarter alone, led the St. Ed’s Eagles past the Glenville Tarblooders 28-14 this past Friday night in Lakewood. Avenging last years 28-27 loss to the Tarblooders. The thrilling fourth quarter rally was led by Brandon White who missed this game last year but finished this one with 172 yards on 26 carries with 17 for 112 in the second half alone. White waited a year to play in that game and made it count!
White has been unstoppable in 4 straight wins to start the Eagles season. Up next, a game with a team that has seemingly replaced St. Ignatius as their biggest rival, the Massillon Tigers. White did not play in last years 31-21 loss to the Tigers and many believe that had he played, they would have won, much like the Glenville result.
Kee On Sports will have written coverage and video coverage of that game Friday from Paul Brown Stadium.
