Anthony Smith vs Glover Texeira
Summary – Both men had career surges and title aspirations until stepping in a cage with Jon Bones Jones. Smith lost his title bout with Jones in March of 2019 while Tex saw a 20 fight win streak get halted by Jones back in April of 2014. He hasn’t been the same since.
With Jones cleaning out the division, both of these men could possibly fight their way back into title contention one day. They will need another long string of wins, possibly starting tonight.
