PICK SIX: UFC Fight Night Smith vs Texeira

Michael Johnson vs Thiago Moises

Summary – Johnson has gone 11-10 since making it to The Ultimate Fighter Finale in 2010. A loss to Jonathan Brookings. He has been flashy in victory, with 3 ko’s, but the other 8 wins came by grinded out decision.

It’s hard to ignore his talent and potential even with the poor record. He has major victories over Tony Ferguson, Joe Lauzon, Edson Barboza and former UFC Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier.

Moises has also been up and down since winning a UFC contract on Dana Whites contenders’ series. He is 1 -2 in the UFC since with losses to Beneil Dariush and Damir Ismagulov. He needs a win tonight or his UFC run may be cut short.

Pick – Johnson by decision
