Parma Redmen Fall Sports Preview

Sport: Girls Tennis

Head Coach: Kirsten Oravec

1-Who are the top returning varsity player(s) on your team (with grade/position/past All-GLC recognition, brief description etc.)

The top returning players are Anna Chylik (12) and Camryn Bahle (11) who placed 6th at the GLC tournament playing 1st doubles together.

This will be their third season playing tennis. Both girls will be taking on the difficult task of playing singles this upcoming season. Camryn Bahle goes above and beyond all practices. She is always the first one to get to practice and is always helping new players improve. This will be her third season with Parma Senior High

2- What are the keys to your team’s success this season?

Some keys to our team’s success is supporting each other through the victories no matter how small. We are a family and support each other no matter what and bring each other up when we are struggling.

3- What is the biggest goal for the season and what is it about your team that will help them achieve it?

Our biggest goal is to keep improving. The team is eager to practice and get better. They are a very coachable group and want to get better!

4-What will set this team apart from past teams?

We are an older and more experienced team and I think with the experience we will be more confident coming out onto the court.

5-What did last season teach your squad on how to overcome adversity?

Last season taught us to appreciate being able to play and be healthy enough to play! We made the most of every practice and match we were able to play!
