by The 2023 Summer Park Tour made stop 33 at Madison Park in Lakewood on Tuesday Night.
Despite a little girl whipping a rock at my younger daughter Madelyn’s head, which caused a bloodbath and total panic, until I was able to get the wound closed and bandaged, we had a really good time before that. A shout out to Matt from across the street from the park who rushed over with bandages, towelettes and swab so I could stop the bleeding and heel the wound.
Again, before that ugly incident, this was a great park. It has huge playsets with multiple slides, and also various swing islands as well. Plenty of rock walls to climb, tunnels to explore and no shortage of things to have fun on. It even has the preferred rubber padding for a ground instead of the wet wood chips that get everywhere.
This park was awesome and I would highly recommend it.
