VINCE MCKEE & COLE MCDANIEL WILL BE BACK NEXT WEEK TO CALL AMHERST AT OLMSTED FALLS
1st quarter
To open the game, the North Ridgeville Rangers masterly drove down the field, reaching the 10 yard line of the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs in just a handful of plays. Unfortunately for them they were not able to find the end zone and had to settle for the field goal, taking the first lead of the game at 3-0.
After trading a couple possessions and being gifted with a fumble, the Bulldogs decided to pound the ball with their 225lb senior running back Andrew Parkowski, scoring from the 10 yard line making the score Bulldogs 7 Rangers 3.
Not deterred by the turnover and Bulldogs score, the Rangers came back on one play with a 83 yard pass from Junior Quarterback Jacob Madis to senior receiver Carter Grow to take back the lead at 10-7.
Coming off the hands of a great kickoff return to the Rangers 48 yard line, the Bulldogs continued their ground rush using the rumbling of Parkowski and the quick feet of slot receiver Michael Candow, scoring a touchdown in 40 seconds. End of the 1st quarter Olmsted Falls 14 North Ridgeville 10.
Great recap of the game, however we are the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs, not North Olmsted!!
