The Berea Midpark Titans played host to the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs in a SWC matchup Saturday Morning. The Titans started the game with a Courtney Simon three pointer to take an early lead. Paige Kohler answered back with a three of her own and another bucket to take the lead for the Bulldogs. It was a defensive battle throughout the quarter but a buzzer beating three pointer for the Titans gave them a 8-7 lead after one.
Defense led to offense for the Bulldogs in the second quarter as they took a commanding 29-13 lead at the half. Paige Kohler led all scorers with 18. The Titans could not get the offense going after a solid start to the game. Courtney Simon led the Titans at half with 6 points.
The second half was no different as the Bulldogs were dominant on both sides of the court and held a comfortable lead throughout the half. The game ended with a score of 71-29, advantage to the Bulldogs.
The leading scorers were Talyssa Moody with 8 for the Titans and Paige Kohler with 22 for the Bulldogs. Mia Kalich also added 17 points for the Bulldogs. Coach Jordan Eaton had this to say after the game, “playing together and as a unit is always a key to victory and when you play together, it’s always fun.”
Poor Mac, guy leaves Trinity. Runs his mouth about here to crash the party on Twitter and he hasn’t been able to coach himself out of a paper bag . What a disgrace those girls in Berea deserve better. All that dude cares about is his Mac basketball. Stay of of Twitter and concentrate on your program. Go Titans
