Olmsted Falls Bulldog Maddie Cerovac Named SWC Player of the Year

Maddie Cerovac is the 2025 Kee On Sports SWC Player of the Year.  Maddie is the picture of class on and off the court and has worked so hard since her freshman year to improve in every aspect of her game.  She learned from the very best in Paige Kohler, Mia Kalich and Danielle Cameron just to name a few.  Cerovac continued to work on her game and the results are clear.

It’s never been easy for Cerovac but she continues to be the picture of perseverance.  Never has a senior had so much pressure on her shoulders coming into her senior year as her team tries to defend a State Championship then Cerovac.  At Olmsted Falls,   the pressure is intense as they play the best of the best out of conference, while trying to win yet another SWC Championship in conference.

If there was any doubt that she should win this award, it was cleared up last Saturday night in Avon Lake when she put the Bulldogs on her shoulders late, to pull off the win!  Cerovac stepped up huge in the second half to help them secure the road victory and the outright SWC Crown.

I spoke with Olmsted Falls head coach Jordan Eaton who had this to say about Maddie, “Maddie has a winner’s mentality. She has a relentless work ethic and strives to improve everyday. Some players end up successful, Maddie has earned success with great habits and a humble confidence.”

The word of Coach Eaton couldn’t be more perfect, as they sum up everything that makes Maddie Cerovac great perfectly!
