Do you want to talk High School Basketball pedigree? Simply look at the Grace family of Olmsted Falls as they continue to light up the nets in the SWC. Jesse Simon was influential in the Bulldogs State Championship run in 2024 and picked up right where she left off with a dominating 2025. Her Bulldogs match Magnificat as having one of the toughest schedules in the state as their out of SWC conference play is loaded.
Jesse Simon, much like her older sister Grace, has torched the nets every time she steps on that court. With a State Championship under her belt as a 10th grader playing with Cerovac and Cameron and a season playing with Paige Kohler and Mia Kalich as a freshman, Simons young Bulldog career has been an embarrassment of riches. She hustles after every ball on defense and there isn’t a shot out of her range on offense, she truly is the total package!
Also, for those of you who may think think that they only have to deal with the dynamic Simons on the court a few more seasons, be aware that the the rumored most talented one of the bunch, “Mae Simon”, is on her way to High School ball sooner then we realize.
Jesse is a lot of fun to cover, comes from a humble family and gives it all her every time out. We spoke with her head coach Jordan Eaton about what makes Jesse so special, ““Jesse has embraced commitment. She shines when things are difficult, both in the classroom and on the court.”
Congrats to Jesse and her teammates as they prepare for postseason to begin.
