Olmsted Falls Bulldog Back Rocco Conti Wins Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn Player of the Week

There were several fine performances this past weekend in Ohio High School Football worth of the Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn Player of the Week, but none better that the one by Olmsted Falls Bulldog Rocco Conti.  The young man finished with 252 yards on 23 carries, 6 Total Touchdowns (4 Rushing, 1 Receiving, and 1 Kick Return) for 358 Total Yards in a thrilling 56-31 over SWC rival Avon Lake.

Conti’s masterful performance was one of legend and much needed against Avon Lake who they have not beaten in Avon Lake in many years.  In fact, going back to 2018, the home team has dominated this rivalry. The win improved the Bulldogs to 7-2 on the season as they head towards the Bagley Cup Game at home this Friday night against Berea-Midpark.  A game that Kee On Sports will be broadcasting live on YouTube.

What is best about Conti is his selfless attitude and his constant deflecting of any praise or glory.  He is always giving credit to that incredible line blocking for him, his quarterback James Rosol and his fellow backs.  Great job Rocco!
