Ohio State vs Rutgers Recap: Hot Start, Cold Finish for OSU

Cole’s Players of the Game

Offensive – QB Justin Fields

There was no question with this one. Fields dominated the entire game and accounted for SIX of Ohio State’s seven total touchdowns. His patience in the pocket and ability to throw while on the run is continuing to give him an even greater case to be a top two pick in the upcoming draft. No team would have been able to stop Fields last night.

Defensive – LB Baron Browning

Browning is my personal favorite to watch on the defense. The 240-pound linebacker is fast enough to cover like a corner, is dangerous on the blitz and loves to stick his nose in there on tackles. Browning was flying all over the field last night, accounting for 5 total tackles, 2 solo tackles and 1 tackle for a loss. Browning is finally getting his opportunity to shine and is already the best linebacker of the whole group.
