The Buckeyes travel to Pennsylvania this weekend sitting on a 1-0 record and a #3 ranking. As for their opponents and Big Ten East competition of late, the Nittany Lions are 0-1 after falling to the Indiana Hoosiers on the road in overtime. The Hoosiers are a pretty solid team now, but Penn State was still expected to take care of business. They did not do so and their top 25 ranking hangs in jeopardy against a loaded Buckeyes roster.
Despite Ohio State winning three straight matchups against Penn State and seven of the last eight, the Nittany Lions have kept games close and caused many scares. The last four years specifically make that point clear.
- 2016: Penn State 24-21
- 2017: Ohio State 39-38
- 2018: Ohio State 27-26
- 2019: Ohio State 28-17
PSU will be looking to keep the game close once again on Saturday, but will they have the capability with some injuries and big roster losses from last season?
