Ohio State had an unplanned bye week heading into a big matchup with Indiana. Last week’s game versus the Maryland Terrapins was unfortunately canceled due to a covid outbreak in the Terrapins program.
Although the cancellation was disappointing for the players, coaches and fans, in hindsight the team was granted extra time to prepare for the ninth ranked Hoosiers.
The extra time could prove to be extremely beneficial because Indiana is off to a strong 4-0 start with wins over Penn State, Rutgers, Michigan and Michigan State. The Hoosiers offense has been consistent and the defense is coming off the back of their best outing so far this season.
The third ranked Buckeyes have more talent and are absolutely the better team. They should dominate but a motivated and confident Hoosiers team should not be taken lightly.
