As previously reported on Kee On Sports, Ryan Day has tested positive for Covid-19 and will not be traveling with the team. Associate Head Coach and Defensive Line Coach Larry Johnson will be assuming Day’s responsibilities tomorrow.

Johnson’s experience and wisdom means the Buckeyes should be in great hands. Hopefully the offense does not slow down without Day, but perhaps in hindsight the defense might step up.

Despite the win versus Indiana last week, OSU needs a dominate win because of disrespect from the playoff committee. Being placed behind one loss Clemson should be a wakeup call and motivation for the Buckeyes.

The fourth ranked Buckeyes are still undefeated at 4-0 and are massive favorites against 2-3 Illinois.
