Ohio State vs Clemson Recap: Buckeyes are Better Than 11th Best

Cole’s Players of the Game

Offensive – Justin Fields

Fields took a shot and showed his toughness by continuing to play and battle through the pain. Not only did he do that, he also set a Sugar Bowl passing touchdown record with six in the game. He needed to step up and did exactly that. If Fields continues this level of play, not only could the Buckeyes win a national title but the Jets might also consider moving on from Sam Darnold with the second pick of the draft.

Defensive – The entire defense

No one player stood out because it was such a fantastic collective effort. The front seven generated so much pressure and the secondary kept everything in front of them. All starters and even backups deserve credit for what they did last night. This type of effort as a unit will be needed again versus Alabama on Monday, January 11th.
