Analysis

It was great to see the big explosive throwing plays this week as they were not able to get that going last week against Akron. Another positive from this game is our rush attack; this game proved that we have the best running-back tandem in the country and showed how the Buckeyes can dominate a ball game by running the football.

The defense looked amazing as well. I know it was Western Michigan, which is a smaller not a traditional powerhouse in college football, but shutting out a team is no small feat. I think that the leaders of the team did not like how they performed against Akron, so they had to come out and make a statement about this game. They did not play poorly against Akron, but if you watched the game there were mistakes being made that first week that I think they cleaned up for this week and led to a shut-out result and a win.
