NXT War Games Makes Case For Best Show Of 2020

Johnny Gargano regains the NXT North American Championship

The big sports day for the city of Cleveland continued as Gargano, sporting Cleveland Browns colors regained his belt to become the first 3x North American champion in NXT history. It was also a big day for the Gargano family as we mentioned the win for Team Candice a bit earlier.

I wasn’t a fan of the many Ghost faces having such a large part in the outcome as they attacked Damian Priest.  The only one that would matter would be Austin Idol who would eventually smash a led pipe off Priest, knocking him out and clearing the way for Gargano over Ruff.

I would expect Gargano to continue feuding with Ruff for a little while at least, until an eventual move to 205 for Ruff for him to properly begin his NXT run. They gave him a hot start and some serious screen time, now, what can he do with it moving forward?
