Reason – You knew The New Day wouldn’t have the belts long. Anytime a full time WWE guy, woman or team makes a NXT stop, it is short term with the exception of Crews and Finn Balor. This was another example of that as we knew it wouldn’t be long before Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods dropped the belts.
Pretty Deadly had a terrible and very short run with the belts. They weren’t going that route again, and Chase U is more of a comedy act. At the end of the day, the right move was made to put the straps on Gallus
