Reason – Smart move to put Mello over two straight. You are looking at the future NXT World Champion one day. Going back to his first run with NXT, Crews has never been over win the fans, no matter how many gimmick changes, and this was the only move they could make that made sense. Even the damn crowd cheered for the “heel” Carmelo Hayes over Apollo Crews.
Adding insult to injury, Crews old buddy “Dabo Kato”, Col Dejeerz, or whatever name he is currently going by, came to the ring and turned on him with a full post-match beatdown. (Yawn)
