Reason – I’m sorry, but I just cannot get into Pete Dunne matches anymore. They are all the same and in a real fight, or even a traditional wrestling match, no one is giving up their fingers that easily every single time. I like Pete Dunne, but it is just dumb after a while.
UK Champ Walter retains over Tommaso Ciampa
Grade – B
Reason – Both of these guys are easy to like and root for. They can both bring the physical style and keep it interesting. The outcome was never a doubt as Ciampa hasn’t been a top guy for a long while and hasn’t won a big match at a Takeover in years. All that being said, Walter is great champ and made a lasting impact on the NXT United States brand as he will now head back home over the pond.
