NWA Champions Who Flopped In The WWF

Barry Windham – He was actually a WWF Tag Champion before he even won the NWA Championship.  It was during his time as The Widowmaker, The Stalker and the New Blackjacks that his career totally fizzled out and became an embarrassment.  If only they would have just let him be Barry Windham, he could have been something in the WWF.

Shane Douglas – So this one is a bit of a stretch, as Douglas was only champion for a matter of seconds before throwing the belt down and declaring ECW as the new end all, be all.  Still though, the WWF crushed all his momentum when he arrived there in the summer of 1995 as Dean Douglas.

Chris Candido – Does Skip of the Bodydonna’s ring a bell?

Dan Severn – The WWF missed out big time with Severn.  He may have been there during the wrong time with so many big stars such as Austin, Kane, The Rock, Foley, The Undertaker The Big Show, but there was still room for a legit shooter in their ranks.
