Norton Defeats Ravenna 35-14

To Start off the game the Panthers got the ball first, and as they are about to turn the ball over on downs, Brodey Troutman for the Panthers commits pass interference and allows the drive to keep going. However a couple plays later the QB for the Ravens, #1, M’Kell Williams, gets sacked and fumbles the ball as Cooper Nipuelio recovers the ball and scores a 40 yard fumble recovery for the Panthers to take a 7 – 0 point lead.

 

On the ensuing Ravens drive both teams commit Personal fouls that lead to the Ravens punting the ball back to the Panthers. On the next drive for the Panthers #10 Toby Tatka scores with a 1 Yd Rushing TD as they go up 14 to 0 and that’s the score to end the quarter.

 

The Ravens and Panthers each turn the ball over again before the Panthers are able to generate some offense they are able to score on a 30 Yd pass completed to #11 Buddy Willig for a TD. The Panthers are unable to score  againbefore halftime making the score 21 to 0 Panthers

 

At the start of the 2nd half the Panthers got the ball first and drive down the field quickly and score as #36, Luke Dobbins, runs for a 22 Yd Rushing TD to make the score 28 to 0. On the next offensive drive for the Ravens, number 68 Jeffery Becker was injured for the Panthers. The Ravens then score their first points of the game on a 55 Yd pass completed to #2 Maykai O’neal for a TD.

 

The Ravens are able to successfully complete an onside kick as #12 Pavel Henderson recovers the kick. On the ensuing Ravens drive #20 for the Panthers, Brodey Troutman gets injured. #12, Pavel Henderson scores on a 2 yard rush to bring the score to 14 to 28, which will be the score to end the 3rd quarter

 

The final was Norton 35, Ravenna 14.
