North Olmsted Softball falls to Westlake 5-3

- North Olmsted fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 5-3 loss to Westlake on Sunday. Westlake took the lead on an error in the second inning.

- Westlake got on the board in the second inning. An error scored one run for Westlake.

- Natasha Garlauskas pitched Westlake to victory. The fireballer went seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out nine.

- Jenna Christner took the loss for North Olmsted / Eagles. The righty surrendered five runs on ten hits over seven innings, striking out one and walking one.

- Hailey Garrison, Elena Scott, Lena Costello, Rachel Adams, and Sydney Sukenik each collected one hit to lead North Olmsted / Eagles.

- Westlake tallied ten hits. Megan Forshey and Nadia Milovich each managed multiple hits for Westlake. Forshey went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Westlake in hits. Westlake was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Olivia Gentry made the most plays with seven.
