The North Olmsted girls soccer team beat Padua Franciscan Monday night 3-2 with a trio of second half goals. During the first half, the Bruins were able to put two past freshman goalkeeper Courtney Fisher giving them a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
The first goal of the game for the Eagles came shortly into the second half when senior Khunnita Chamroeun found senior Kendell Perkins. Not long after, the same duo found each other again for the second goal. This time Kendell Perkins crossed the ball and found Khunnita Chamroeun, who put the ball in the back of the net. The final goal came when senior Delaney Macke was fouled and was awarded a penalty kick, where she put the ball in the back of the net. Goalkeeper Courtney Fisher ended the night with 12 saves.
The Eagles will be back in action on Thursday, August 22nd when they take on Cleveland Heights at home. JV is set to start at 5pm, with varisty following afterwards at 7pm.
