by The pickup and drop-off lines aren’t what they once wore at St. Brendan’s this spring as total chaos has taken over the parking lot. A wild goose has decided to give birth in the grass by the drop off line and doesn’t appear to be moving anytime soon.
Where did the Geese came from? Some say Toronto, others say Canada. We may never know. When reached for comment, the Goose refused to make peace or given any real reason as to why she chose St. Brendan’s. Instead, she simply squawked and threatened to defecate on what has been called by the First Graders, “bird poop lane”.
Is it their affordable and top-notch education that brought the Geese here? The extraordinary cuisine offered in the school cafeteria each day, or perhaps the world renown nurse / secretary Mrs. D. The questions are endless, but we will not have an answer for another 10 days as the school has been shutdown for Spring break since last Thursday afternoon.
Will they give birth and leave, or will they sign their “goslings” up for Vacation Bible School later this summer. Only time will tell which turn this dramatic situation takes next.
