ROCKY RIVER (July 24, 2024) – Today, the Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism (NEOPAT), announces Shawna Whitlock as the new Director of Philanthropy.
A seasoned “nonprofit advocate” with over 20 years of experience, Shawna has worked in all aspects of development activities for both large and small organizations throughout Greater Cleveland including Case Western Reserve University and Notre Dame College, as well as The Cleveland Clinic.
“We are thrilled to have Shawna join us at NEOPAT and round out our marketing and fundraising team initiatives,” said Greg Renkas, NEOPAT Executive Director. “Shawna’s track record speaks for itself and will allow us to ensure we are in the position to have funds available in perpetuity so we may continue to Keep the Promise to our local veterans and military families in their time of need.”
Passionate about making a difference for mission-driven organizations, Shawna leads by example and creates visionary goals using a highly collaborative approach. She builds authentic relationships with prospects, donors, and colleagues to cultivate and steward beneficial outcomes for everyone involved.

NEOPAT supports service men and women who return to civilian life with needs not directly addressed by existing government programs. It also supports immediate family members of those service men and women, along with honoring and remembering the fallen, and promoting patriotism in our local communities.
