My 2024-2025 All-NBA Teams

The regular season is over and the 2025 NBA Playoffs are in full swing. The regular season award winners continue to be announced as the days go by and the All-NBA Teams continue to be a hot topic among fans and analysts.

These are my personal All-NBA Teams for the 2024-2025 NBA season. In order to be selected to an All-NBA Team, players must have appeared in at least 65 games over the course of the regular season.

Here are some notable players who did not reach 65 games played:

Luka Doncic, G, LAL
Victor Wembanyama, C, SAS
Kevin Durant, F, PHX
Anthony Davis, F/C, DAL
Kyrie Irving, G, DAL
Jaylen Brown, F, BOS
Kawhi Leonard, F, LAC
Paolo Banchero, F, ORL
Franz Wagner, F, ORL
De’Aaron Fox, G, SAS
Jimmy Butler, F, GSW

First Team

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, G, OKC | Age: 26

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the likely MVP and for good reason. He led the NBA in scoring on elite efficiency while leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 68-14 record, which was the best in the NBA. He is also a superb defender and continues to improve as a three-point shooter.

Donovan Mitchell, G, CLE | Age: 28

Donovan Mitchell played just 31 minutes per game this season, but he made the most of it, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 64-18 record. That record was the best in the Eastern Conference. Mitchell is a true three-level scorer with the ability to take over any game due to his elite athleticism and shot creation.

Stats: 71 G, 24.0 Pts, 4.5 Reb, 5.0 Ast, 44.3% FG, 36.8% 3PT, 82.3% FT

Anthony Edwards, G, MIN | Age: 23

Anthony Edwards continues to improve his game every single year he plays. This season, Edwards led the NBA in three-pointers made while maintaining his athleticism and finishing ability. His on-ball defense is also among the best in the NBA, and with Edwards at the helm, Minnesota is an extremely dangerous team.

Stats: 79 G, 27.6 Pts, 5.7 Reb, 4.5 Ast, 44.7% FG, 39.5% 3PT, 83.7% FT

Giannis Antetokounmpo, F, MIL | Age: 30

Giannis Antetokounmpo has played at an elite level for eight years, and he is now considered one of the best two-way players in NBA history. He is unstoppable at the rim and in transition because of his freakish size and athleticism. Antetokounmpo also remains one of the best rebounders and defenders in the NBA.

Stats: 67 G, 30.4 Pts, 11.9 Reb, 6.5 Ast, 60.1% FG, 22.2% 3PT, 61.7% FT

Nikola Jokic, C, DEN | Age: 30

If Nikola Jokic didn’t already have three MVP awards, he would’ve likely won it again this year. Either way, Jokic is arguably the greatest offensive player in NBA history. He can score at will from all three levels and is the best playmaker in the NBA. Jokic is the reason the Nuggets are great, they’re amazing when he’s on the floor, and horrible when he isn’t.

Stats: 70 G, 29.6 Pts, 12.7 Reb, 10.2 Ast, 57.6% FG, 41.7% 3PT, 80.0% FT

Second Team

Cade Cunningham, G, DET | Age: 23

The Detroit Pistons shocked the world as they went from a 14-68 team last season to a 44-38 team this season. Their improvement was largely because of Cade Cunningham, who had his best season yet. He is a crafty scorer, a mismatch waiting to happen, and a gifted passer. The future is bright for the Pistons with Cunningham leading the way.

Stats: 70 G, 26.1 Pts, 6.1 Reb, 9.1 Ast, 46.9% FG, 35.6% 3PT, 84.6% FT

Stephen Curry, G, GSW | Age: 37

Stephen Curry is still making the Golden State Warriors competitive year after year. The greatest shooter we’ve ever seen is still shooting the ball at an elite level and has shown no signs of slowing down. Curry and the Warriors are looking to make some noise in the Western Conference.

Jayson Tatum, F, BOS | Age: 27

Jayson Tatum is one of the most complete players in the NBA, and he showed that by putting up a career high in assists per game and averaging nearly nine rebounds per game. He is a true three-level scorer and continues to prove himself as a good on-ball defender. He is the leader of the Celtics and they’re looking to go back to back as NBA Champions.

LeBron James, F, LAL | Age: 40

It should be no surprise that LeBron James had another excellent season despite being 40 years old. James has declined a bit defensively, but he is still a great scorer and playmaker. His basketball IQ has always been one of his best traits and it still is. We have to assume that as long as James is playing, he’ll be a top player in the NBA.

Stats: 70 G, 24.4 Pts, 7.8 Reb, 8.2 Ast, 51.3% FG, 37.6% 3PT, 78.2% FT

Evan Mobley, F, CLE | Age: 23

Evan Mobley has already been named the Defensive Player of the Year and for good reason. Mobley can guard anyone on the floor due to his length and defensive instincts. He has great touch around the rim and had a breakout season from behind the three-point line. He is looking to help the Cavs bring another title to Cleveland.

Stats: 71 G, 18.5 Pts, 9.3 Reb, 3.2 Ast, 55.7% FG, 37.0% 3PT, 72.5% FT

Third Team

Tyrese Haliburton, G, IND | Age: 25

Tyrese Haliburton is a true point guard. He is one of the best at running an offense and getting all of his teammates involved. He led the Indiana Pacers to another playoff appearance as the second best offense in the NBA. He is an underrated scorer and is as good as anybody in clutch moments.

Stats: 73 G, 18.6 Pts, 3.5 Reb, 9.2 Ast, 47.3% FG, 38.8% 3PT, 85.1% FT

Jalen Brunson, G, NYK | Age: 28

Jalen Brunson turned in another excellent season despite getting off to a slow start. He is one of the best scorers in the NBA, using crafty moves to get open and score at will. Brunson, with 65 games on the dot, just made the cut to be eligible for an All-NBA selection.

Stats: 65 G, 26.0 Pts, 2.9 Reb, 7.3 Ast, 48.8% FG, 38.3% 3PT, 82.1% FT

Jalen Williams, F, OKC | Age: 24

Jalen Williams is one of the best do-it-all forwards in the NBA as he’s established himself as the clear second best player on a stacked Thunder roster. Williams can score off the dribble and knock down catch and shoot opportunities while also playing lockdown defense. He is everything you need in a basketball player.

Stats: 69 G, 21.6 Pts, 5.3 Reb, 5.1 Ast, 48.4% FG, 36.5% 3PT, 78.9% FT

Jaren Jackson Jr., F/C, MEM | Age: 25

Jaren Jackson Jr had his best scoring season yet averaging over 22 points per game on good efficiency. Not only that, but he anchored the Grizzlies’ defense like he always has. The former Defensive Player of the Year is as disruptive as they come on the defensive end, and it’s expected he will make the All-Defensive team again this year.

Stats: 74 G, 22.2 Pts, 5.6 Reb, 2.0 Ast, 48.8% FG, 37.5% 3PT, 78.1% FT

Karl-Anthony Towns, C, NYK | Age: 29

The New York Knicks went all in this offseason, acquiring multiple time All Star Karl-Anthony Towns in a trade featuring Julius Randle. Towns is a great scorer in the post and a sniper from beyond the arc. He is a beast on the boards, finishing second in the NBA in rebounds per game. He’s been an excellent fit with the Knicks so far.

Stats: 72 G, 24.4 Pts, 12.8 Reb, 3.1 Ast, 52.6% FG, 42.0% 3PT, 82.9% FT
