MOEN Decides to Keep Portion of Company in North Olmsted Facility

In a bit of good news today for employees of the North Olmsted based location of MOEN, the company announced that they will keep around 100 employees at that North Olmsted Location permanently.  Earlier in the year they announced that all 350 plus employees would be making the move with them to Deerfield Illinois.

In a release sent to members of the media, MOEN has this to share about their decision, “This technical facility plays an important role in validating and engineering the innovative products that originate in our Deerfield headquarters. We have opted to invest in space, equipment and people in North Olmsted to continue this important function.”

Again, this was great news as many were trying to decide if they would move to the windy city or look for employment elsewhere.

That is the good news, the bad news however is that roughly 70% of the North Olmsted facility will still be empty until new tenants of that area can be found. That is a problem for a later day however, as for now, it is a small win for the city of North Olmsted.
