by Big games bring out the best in big game players, and Noah Geselbracht did exactly that in leading the Moeller Crusaders in a thrilling 28-21 overtime victory at St. Edward this past weekend.
It was quite the night for Noah Geselbracht as he threw for 291 yards and 2 touchdowns on 23 of 33 passing. There wasn’t a pass he couldn’t make and he just kept coming up with one big play after another.
The Crusaders trailed 3 times in the game, and every single time came back to tie the game, or cut it to a point. Down 14-6, in the closing seconds of the first half, he led a brilliant 4 play drive that gobbled up nearly 80 yards and a touchdown. The Crusaders would convert a two-point conversion to tie the game at half.
From there, it went back and forth with one major blow landed after another, it was like watching a heavyweight prize fight. In the end, for the second straight week, it was Moeller pulling out an overtime thrilling win against a top ranked Northeast Ohio school.
