Men’s Bowling Team makes a Debut in Ohio Conference

Baldwin Wallace University Men’s Bowling team makes an appearance in Ohio Conference 1 and 2 with improving rankings on Saturday October 5th and 19th.

 

Conference 1

 

It is no secret that the Yellow Jackets struggled in the first conference of the season, but the team held strong to finish ninth. Last season, Baldwin Wallace Men’s Bowling team finished nineteenth, but thanks to the head coach Paul Ashby, as he pushed the team to receive a higher ranking this year.

Even though they had a rocky performance, the Yellow Jackets concluded with a total of 5,131 pins fall. Alex Etheredge led Baldwin Wallace and placed 26th, sophomore Anthony Shields II with a placement of 27th, and junior Josh Dohm that placed him 30th in the conference.

The Yellow Jackets persisted with a proficient team and highlights Alex Etheredge, Anthony Shields II, Josh Dohm, Wyatt Toth, and Aiden Compton. As they all powered along and stayed strong during the tough first conference.

 

Conference 2

 

Luckily, the second conference was different as the Yellow Jackets developed powerful tactics on the lanes. Baldwin Wallace Men’s Bowling team finished with a positive ranking of six place in the conference.

The Yellow Jackets had a powerful performance as they also held strong and persevered in the second conference. Even though sixth place is not the best, it is certainly better than ninth place.

With this better performance, first-year Wyatt Toth led Baldwin Wallace with sophomore Anthony Shields II, senior Alex Etheredge, junior Josh Dohm, and sophomore Hunter Brackman.

To highlight more, Wyatt Toth placed seventh in the conference, Anthony Shields II tied with a placement of sixteenth, and Alex Etheredge had a placement of twenty-eighth in the second conference.
