MELT Files Bankruptcy

A rumor came up over the weekend about Easton Town Center suing MELT owner Matt Fish for 200k in back rent fee’s, and now it appears that matters with MELT have gone from bad to worse, not only at that location, but for the struggling company as a whole.

As we reported earlier this year, they had already closed locations in Avon and Independence, and now the company has filed Chapter 11 in a whopping 37 page filing.  CEO and Founder the eccentric Matt Fish believes that this will give them the best opportunity to reorganize and rebuild the company.  The company has been around for the past two decades, and Fish will not let in end without a fight apparently.

More can be found on page two on why current times in our country, and the eagerness of taking the “easy way out”, are ruining more and more family run companies.
