Meet The New Faces Of NXT 2.0

At Kee On Sports we are blessed to have multiple sponsors for our Sports Entertainment content.

NXT 2.0 is well underway and finding it’s niche.  One thing the WWE apparently is relying on is a fresh group of faces to introduce to their fan base in hopes that 3 or 4 of them can really be big.  Thus far, it is much too early to tell, however, I do see a few that could do big things.

For those of you who haven’t tuned in yet, here is a cheat sheet to get you started on which “characters” to look out for.

Andre Chase – He has a Dean Douglass feel to him.  The smug and arrogant professor who also likes to deliver a beating.  But, as we’ve already seen, he may be taking some as well.  A heel that is easy to boo. You hear the name Andre Chase and the first thing you think is NFL Linebacker, then you see him, and it is Dean Douglas 2.0

Odyssey Jones – A cross between Willie Hobbes and Mark Henry with just a touch of Keith Lee.  Great personality, easy to root for and a mountain of a man.  I like Jones a lot and see him doing well.

Bronn Breaker – The new franchise of NXT is already born with Breaker. This second-generation wrestler (son of Rick Steiner) is built like a Sherman Tank and wrestles like his uncle Scott.  This kid has all the goods to be a superstar and it already appears will be challenging Tomaso Ciampa for the NXT title soon enough.

Dante Chen – His first match lasted less than a minute, so it is hard to gauge much out of Chen. It appears he may be a welcome addition to the cruiserweight brand perhaps?  Not sure what to make of him just yet.

Joe Gacy – Um yeah, this guy wasted no time making an impact and making enemies with his mouth.  He has a creepy mix of Kevin Owens and Waylon Mercy in him.  Not sure where this left winged extremist goes, but the WWE is already taking heat. I actually hope they stick with him as this could be very interesting despite him getting squashed by Cameron Grimes.

Toxic Attraction – Mandy Rose is smoking hot no matter what color or length her hair is. She has never been able to make it as a singles wrestler and seems to be in one click or team after another.  Can she make this one work?

Grayson Waller – We haven’t seen too much of this young buck just yet, but will next week when he challenges Roderick Strong for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.  My guess is that he loses because Strong just won the belt, but this MMA style fighter will have a “fighting” chance to make big things happen in NXT.

Tony D’Angelo – THIS IS GREAT!  Who doesn’t love an overly exaggerated Italian Mafia Stereotype. As long as this guy can work in the ring, he will be fun to watch! I can already sense the promo’s and skits will be hilarious.

Briggs & Jensen

They are not quite the Smoking Gunns, or APA or even Cade & Murdoch.  But, they are a touch of all three and will be fun to watch develop.  Josh Briggs was an absolute stud in Evolve wrestling and I like the prospects of where this team can go.

  1. Mandy Rose will be the biggest star in wrestling! only thing that needs to happen first the passing or COMPLETE retirement of VINCE McMAHON. the entire story line that had everyones attnction in 2020 with otis was 100% her idea and one of if not the best things the wwe did last year. however Vince hates Otis, so every one involved was split up downgraded or fired. she is a creative genius and again a failure by the wwe not the talent.
