MCKEE: NFL Playoff Predictions

NFC Division Winners

Philadelphia Eagles 12-4: A healthy Carson Wentz and excellent running back combo gives this team a real shot to go all the way again! The are excellent on both sides of the ball and Doug Pederson has already proven he can coach them to win in any situation.

Green Bay 12-4: Rodgers is healthy and out to prove the problem was Mike McCarthy. Their defense is drastically improved as well.  The running game remains a mystery, but with Rodgers how much of it do you really need?

LA Rams 13-3: Sure Todd Gurley is a question mark, but the rest of this team is not.  They  have the best roster on paper in the NFL.  Visionary head coach and a chip on their shoulder.  Watch out for the Rams this season folks!

NO Saints 10-6: They play in a bad division and will be the best of it. I just don’t see them getting far once they get to postseason as this may be the season that Bree’s finally starts to look old.

Dallas 11-5 : Offseason drama finally behind them, they will do well when it counts. The addition of Cooper last year helped Dak Prescott elevate his game.  Jason Witten coming back refreshed and ready will also help.  Don’t sleep on America’s team.

Wildcard Teams

Chicago 11-5: I’m not sold on Mitchell Trubisky, to me, he played his best football at Mentor High School. I don’t like him, and I don’t think he is an elite quarterback, far from it actually.  Their running game is middle of the road as well.  What sets this team apart is coaching and defense, and in the NFL, that can be enough at times.
