Matt Riddle Set For WWE Return in 2025

The WWE TV schedule is about to bloat once again.  They currently have 6 hours of live TV to produce a week with NXT, RAW and Smackdown all at 2 hours each.  After next week, it will be 8 when RAW and Smackdown both balloon to 3 hours each.  With that being the case expect several NXT call ups and also a few returns to make sure each roster has enough talent on it to carry a 3 hour show.

Matt Riddle was easily one of the most popular “Superstars” during his original WWE between 2018-2023.  Perhaps he was at the peak of his popularity towards the end when he was challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed World Championship and teaming with Randy Orton.

The smart money has the return of Riddle to WWE coming at the Royal Rumble when he either attacks or teams up with Randy Orton.  There are many options, but one thing is for sure both the UFC and HHH are big on giving guys a second chance, so it is only a matter of time now.
