by The Magnificat Blue Streaks captured the sectional quad victory last night at Big Met Golf Course in Fairview. The Streaks had some tough competition but came out ahead with the final standings listed below. The top Scorer for the Blue Streaks was Maureen O’Leary who shot an even par at 72 with a 2 under on the back nine.

A special shout out in this one goes to young Ellie Gonzalez-Ribble of Brunswick. The Freshman has broken the 18 hole scoring record at Brunswick, this time carding a one under par 71 at Big Met in the Sectional Quad. Ellie was solid on the front nine, carding one birdie (5th) and one bogey (8th).
She turned to the back and holed an impossible chip on the 10th, and added another birdie on the 13th. She teed off on the 18th, needing a birdie for the record. After finding the fairway, she knocked her second shot to a foot and tapped in for birdie.
