(November 29th, 2021: Avon Ohio) The Lake Erie Crushers, who are presented by Akron Children’s Hospital, released their 2022 schedule today, featuring 51 home games and 5 brand new opponents visiting Mercy Health Stadium.
The Crushers open the 2022 campaign Friday May 13th hosting one of those new opponents, the Trois-Rivieres Aigles from Canada. Also making their first trip to Avon next summer will be the Sussex County (NJ) Miners, the New York Boulders, the Frontier Greys and the New Jersey Jackals. The schedule also features 10 weekend home stands, each with a spectacular Friday Fireworks show.
“We expect 2022 to be one of the best seasons in Crushers history”, stated team Co-Owner Tom Kramig. “Fan favorite promotions such as Christmas in July, Pack the Park Pink and Stomper’s Birthday, featuring a helicopter candy drop will be part of the festivities. There will also be Fireworks every night the weekend of July 1st, July 2nd, and July 3rd.”
