Kenston rolls in 55-7 blowout win over Chagrin Falls

Chagrin Falls, Ohio – In the Battle of 422 Friday night, the Kenston Bombers defeated visiting Chagrin Falls, 55-7.

It didn’t take long for the Kenston offense to get cooking. After a punt, Sean Patrick picked off a pass to set the Bombers up in great field position.

He would later take a handoff 26 yards to paydirt to give the Bombers an early 7-0 lead less than two minutes into play.

After another punt, Patrick would be the recipient of a 24-yard touchdown toss from junior quarterback Lucas Kaltenbach. This would increase the lead to 14-0 with 5:39 left in the first.

Chagrin Falls would move down the field thanks to a 35-yard reception from Cole Ducas, but the Bomber defense turned them away and got the ball back on downs.

Junior wide receiver Tymir Cardona would take it in from six yards out on the first play of the second quarter, upping the Kenston lead to 21-0.

After another Chagrin Falls punt, Sean Patrick took a carry 48 yards to the house for his second rushing touchdown of the game, increasing the lead to 28-0.

But the Bomber offense was not done yet. After a fumble recovery from Ashton Kolenic, junior quarterback Lucas Kaltenbach fired a 50-yard touchdown strike to Sean Patrick, making the score 35-0 in favor of Kenston.

Kaltenbach would then toss two more touchdown passes in the first half. The first went to Tymir Cardona, from 14 yards out, to make the score 42-0. The second went to junior Dylan Krupp with 2:24 left in the first half. This would push the lead to 48-0 by the end of the first half.
