Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn Returns For Sixth Year as “Player of the Week” Sponsor

We at Kee On Sports are proud to announce that for the sixth straight High School Football season, starting in August, Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn has returned to be the Title Sponsor of the award.  They do a wonderful job as they send a prize package and certificate to the winner each week, and it continues to be the mostly highly viewed thing we do during High School Football each year.

North Olmsted Graduate Class of 1988, Jennifer McGuire has gone on to huge things and we here at Kee On Sports wanted to recognize her accomplishments as Co-Owner of Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn. She bleeds Eagle Black and Orange and may go down as one of the most successful women to ever graduate from North Olmsted.

Her grandmother started the company in the 1950’s, that story itself being an amazing one.  Her grandmother was a widow with 3 small children all under the age of seven and decided to follow the American dream by opening her own business.  If that doesn’t say, “HERO”, I don’t know what does.  Just an amazing woman!

At the time, Jenny’s was just a small candy, ice cream and popcorn parlor. Over the years it would grow to become a household name in the snacking community.  Jennifer’s father took over the company in 1961 when he got out of the Navy.  The family tradition has carried on and has gotten bigger and better.

Jennifer and her brother took over the company on October 1, 2007 and haven’t looked back.  Jenny’s is now sold everywhere you can buy popcorn including Giant Eagle, Marc’s and Drug Mart.  Jenny’s now offers 24 flavors including dittos.

What is a ditto you ask?  It is the same great taste and flavor you get from normally popped popcorn, but without the kernel still in it, thus being safe for the kiddos!

Jennifer recently celebrated her 16th anniversary as owner and has made everyone proud.  We do not doubt for a single second that her grandmother is looking down from Heaven smiling ear to ear. Perhaps best of all, Jennifer is a huge supporter of Cleveland sports, and also high school sports.

With a heart of gold and a mind for business, mixed in with a work ethic second to none, Jennifer McGuire has made all of North Olmsted proud.

We recommend that you visit them in person at 38727 Taylor Parkway, North Ridgeville, OH 44039.  Or on line at the link listed here – https://jennyspopcorn.com/
