Is This The Best Roman Reigns We’ve Ever Seen?

For years the WWE tried to fit a round peg in a square whole when it came to pushing Roman Reigns as a babyface.  At times it received lukewarm success but at the end of the day, it looked as though the super hype he had when leaving “The Shield” would never reach its fulfillment.  Then, the greatest thing that could happen to Reigns did, a worldwide pandemic that forced him to go away for a bit.

When he came back in time for SummerSlam 2020, he was never better than he was that night and hasn’t looked back since.  He is doing the best promo work of his life with Heyman there to guide him when needed.

He has worked the family angle with Jey Uso by his side, and I’m pretty sure Jimmy will be joining them soon enough after tonight’s Smackdown. Family dynasty works every time!

He has the look of a villain, the move set and the attitude. That is why this is working this time.  He changed a few things, kept what he needed and it has been off to the races ever since.  Bring on Cesaro!
