Hudson Defeats Euclid 35-0

The Hudson Explorers blew the Euclid panthers out of the water 35 to 0 this Friday night.

Right from the jump the Explorers pressed the Panthers with their tenacious defense, Lucas Offredo made the first tackle, setting the tone for the game. Euclid played aggressively and with energy however small mistakes caused their demise in the end.

Hudson’s talented quarterback Jagger Pallay had yet another great game, and made some clutch plays. Ian Ludewig also helped the Explorers tremendously by scoring three crucial touchdowns in the first quarter of the game and the third.

In the first quarter, Jagger Pallay of Hudson threw a quick and decisive pass to Nolan Tanner to complete the play and score the first touchdown of the game. After they scored, it seemed as if the energy was passed down through the entire team, and a win was in their near future.

Amaru Rand of Euclid tried to pick up the pace and advance the ball for the panthers however, Ronan Spohn stopped them in their tracks with two great tackles back-to-back, and put the advancing of the panthers to a halt. Ian Ludewig of the Hudson Explorers scored the second, and third touchdowns of the game, leaving the Panthers in the dust, making it harder and harder for a possible comeback.

In the second quarter Hudson ‘s defense stayed strong, and the Explorers held their ground by not allowing the Panthers to infiltrate their strong defensive line. Jagger Pallay threw a complete pass to Demetrius Sharp for the touchdown. Euclid then got the ball back; however they turned it over after  Jack Jenkins of Hudson intercepted the ball.

In the third quarter the Explorers continued to step on the gas. Ian Ludewig scored another touchdown. The young man was on fire this game, paving the way for the Explorer’s success tonight.

Ian Ludewig of the Hudson explorers had an extraordinary night with three touchdowns in one game making it a cakewalk for the Explorers tonight.

The Euclid panthers will be facing Perry Massillon next Friday, hoping to get a spark that will light the fire under them so they can rise above their current losing streak.

The Explorers will be facing Warren Harding away next Friday. With the winning streak they have thus far, the Hudson Explorers are already making their statement this year, saying they are ready to compete!
