The Bruins received the opening kickoff and started at the 30 yd line. Junior running back Marquise Hall had plenty of carries on the night as Padua mixed nicely between run and pass all night. A couple plays later Tusai threw up a jump ball at the front corner of the goal line and Cervanka came down with the ball for a touchdown. After the PAT the Bruins led you 7-0.

At the 4:37 mark, Tusai found Cervanka wide open for a beautiful passing Touchdown. A missed PAT and the Bruins were up 13-7.

Holy Name had trouble moving the ball at times last night, but the Green Wave’s QB Williams is very quick and runs very well. He is very capable creating big plays. Making it difficult for defenses. On the first play of the fourth quarter he showed that.
The Bruin’s turned it over on downs. Williams threw a deep ball from his own 20 to Senior Wideout Kevin Pivanka who went up high for an amazing catch at the 35-yard line. As the defender fell, Pivanka sprinted into the end zone for a quick strike 80 yd TD. With 11:37 left, Wave was up 21-16.
