by Austintown, Ohio – The Hoban Knights girls basketball team led wire-to-wire in a 64-36 victory over Austintown Fitch Saturday afternoon.
The Knights jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first, with each of the seven scored by senior guard Mackenzie Edingburgh. They would not look back from there, as the defense forced turnover after turnover on the day.
Edingburgh finished with a career-high 24 points for the Knights. Junior guard/forward Finley Kennedy and sophomore guard Taylyn Banta each had nine.
Youngstown State softball commit Ayla Ray had ten points to lead the Falcons, and Samantha Severn had nine.
