Sadly, the list came out today of the Big Lots locations in each state that will be saved from closing, and North Olmsted Big Lot’s was not on the list. As you recall, an investment firm came in at the 11th hour to save the corporation but did say not all stores would be spared from closing. Again, sadly, North Olmsted was not saved.
When they filed for bankruptcy in Sept. 2024 and had 1,392 stores at the beginning of 2024. Big Lots now has 872 stores across the U.S., according to its website.
