Guatemala named host for the inaugural Concacaf W Futsal Championship

Miami, FL (Tuesday, February 11, 2025) – Concacaf has announced that Guatemala will host the inaugural edition of the Concacaf W Futsal Championship. The Confederation’s qualifying competition for the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup will take place between April 29 and May 4, 2025, at Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

The competition will kick off with a seven-team group stage (one group of four teams and one group of three teams). After Round-Robin play between April 29 and May 1, the top two group winners will advance to the Knockout Stage.

The Knockout Stage will include single-match direct elimination Semifinals on May 3, followed by the Final on May 4, where the Confederation’s Champion will be crowned. The two finalists will also qualify for the FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup Philippines 2025.

The seven Concacaf Member Associations participating in the competition are (in alphabetical order): Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, and the United States.

The official draw for the 2025 Concacaf W Futsal Championship is scheduled for February 19 at 11 am ET. Fans can follow the event on Concacaf’s YouTube channel.

The competition’s complete match schedule will be announced after the official draw.

The FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup will take place in the Philippines between November 21 and December 7, 2025, and will include 16 teams from across six confederations.
