Grading The 2021 Cleveland Browns Draft Class

5th Round – Pick 153

LB – Tony Fields II – West Virginia

He was a three-year starter at Arizona before transferring to West Virginia where he excelled in the Mountaineer Box scheme on the edge. He can stop on a dime and change direction with little to no issue.  He is also one hell of a tackler, something the Browns have struggled with over the past several years.

He does struggle to get off the initial block at times  and can make an easy play look a lot harder then it needs to be.   He may not see a ton of time during his rookie season if everyone stays healthy, but how often does that happen?

Grade B – A strong addition to the weak side in regards to depth. Not an every down player, but again, this teams needed depth.
