Girls High School Basketball To Be Featured With Pink Power Preview

As our fans know, we are huge supporters of female hoops at Kee On Sports.  Later this fall, some of the top area coaches have teamed up for something truly special.  It is called the “Pink Power Preview”.  This event is organized by several of the top area coaches, including Karen Swanson Haan of St. Joes along with Lisa Stopp, Head Coach at Cornerstone Christian Academy, and will be held at John Carroll University on Saturday November 5th.

It will include

22 programs,

11 games,

a three point shootout

A special talk from Robyn Fralick, Bowling Green’s Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Some of the top programs in the state will be on hand to test their skills as they warmup for the season.  All the programs have female head coaches which I think is wonderful and sends the positive message to young girls all across the state!

It’s a powerful message that these programs, these games, ALL OF IT, need to be treated with nothing but respect and prestige. These young women and the coaches work very hard and the message they teach,  can last a lifetime, well beyond the court.

Such programs include, VASJ, Cornerstone, Aurora, Chagrin Falls, Hoban, Lakewood, Laurel, STVM, Strongsville, St. Joe’s, North Ridgeville and several more big name programs!  A full schedule of the games taking place on November 5th, can be found below.

The Saturday event is a full day of pre-season scrimmages between area girls’ basketball teams with female head coaches, designed to celebrate a lot of great squads as well as the leadership of many outstanding women. Here is some more information about the panel and the event itself:
