Gina Lehmann Is Our North Olmsted Resident Spotlight For September

A leader is more than a boss, a coach or a supervisor.  A leader is someone you trust, believe in and want to follow anywhere.  Gina Lehmann has all those qualities and more.  John Quincy Adams once said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”  I hear those words, and instantly think Lehmann!

From a working-class family, Gina was born and raised in North Olmsted.  From kindergarten to graduation, she took every step of her pre-college education in the hallowed halls of the North Olmsted school system.  Her oldest daughter Norah, has now followed that exact same path and is set to graduate in 2022. Gina is an Eagle, she bleeds orange and black.  She honors the past but more importantly, places great focus and effort on improving the future.  She does this not only for her children, but yours as well!

She spent 9 years as an assistant preschool teacher and is now beginning her fourth year as an Educational Aide in a K-5 resource room.  She was awarded the Excellence in Education Award in 2018.  Before I go any further, think about those words, “Excellence in Education”.  It doesn’t get any better than that, she truly proved she is one of the very best at what she does.

Her passion is working with students who have disabilities which also speaks volumes about her patience.  A skill a lot of us need these days.  Speaking of patience, Gina and her husband Curt have two teenaged daughters and a young 8-year-old son.  Gina knows a thing or two about patience and understanding!

She is as kind as they come, but also firm and fair. Don’t let that smile fool you she is a tough cookie who isn’t going to put up with anything that is not 100% fair. She will fight for your rights, and most importantly, your children’s right at a fair education.

Last summer when no one knew what was around the corner, Lehmann proved to be the picture of confidence, wisdom and guidance at what laid ahead for all of us with children.  She knew what to ask, what we should be aware of and what to expect. Again, like she has been since the day I met her, Lehmann was there to lead!

John Maxwell once said, “”The pessimist complains about the wind. The optimist expects it to change. The leader adjusts the sails.”  Well, the winds of change are blowing in North Olmsted, and it is Gina Lehmann who will lead us through this storm in the sunny days ahead.

It is with that being that said, the Kee On Sports, the largest and most respected Sports Media Company to ever come out of Northeast, Ohio, would like to fully endorse Gina Lehmann for School Board.
