by Euclid Stadium- It was a great night for football. The game started out slow for both teams as they were trying to find any offense. With 9:28 left in the first quarter, Gilmour Academy sophomore Jake Kavcic came up with an interception to give his team great field position.

score 7 to 0.
Lutheran East had trouble all night trying to muster up any type of offense. Gilmour Academy got the ball back and ran a 30 yard toss sweep for a touchdown. The touchdown gave Gilmour
Academy sophomore quarterback Jake Kavcic two touchdowns in the first quarter.
With Lutheran East’s lack of offense, Gilmour Academy marched down the field and scored again with a quarterback keeper increasing the lead to 21 to 0 in favor of Gilmour Academy.
After a Lutheran East turnover on downs, Gilmour Academy got the ball with 3:44 left until halftime. Gilmour Academy found a way to score with a designed run for sophomore quarterback Jake Kavcic.
Putting the score 28 to 0. But not to be out done Lutheran East
generated enough offense to score with a touchdown by senior running back Rayshon Kennedy.
The third quarter began with a score 28 to 6 in favor of Gilmour Academy. Once again Lutheran East turned the ball over on downs.
Then a few plays later Gilmour Academy sophomore Jake
Kavcic scored a big run to the endzone. Doubling the lead to 34 to 6. Lutheran East got the ball and had to kick it back to Gilmour Academy. Senior quarterback Jake Kavcic scores again
to put Gilmour Academy up big 41 to 6.
In the fourth quarter, Gilmour Academy wide receiver Tommy McCrone took a punt return to the house making the score 48 to 6.
