Get Well Card For Cleveland Browns Legend Bernie Kosar

Legendary Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar was recently diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and Parkinson’s Disease.  According to doctors, there is a 90% chance he will need a liver transplant. This is not good news for the beloved legend and in a time like this, when not all of us can offer up our own liver, we can offer up words of encouragement and thankfulness.

When you have a moment please leave a word of encouragement, happy memory or even just your name in the comment section at the bottom of this page as we will be eventually printing off this article, framing all the comments and sending it to Bernie.  Every last comment counts, when you consider how much this man gave his body and life to the game of football, and the city of Cleveland.  Dozens of surgeries, concussions and so many other area’s of trauma dealt with, to entertain the fans.  He also skipped the NFL draft just so he could play for the Cleveland Browns. I can assure you, that will never be done again!

Let’s hear it for Bernie!

  1. My all time favorite memory was when Bernie led the Browns back in the Double OT victory over the Jets. Leading the team down the field after getting speared in the back from Gastineau. I wasn’t even able to finish watching the game and listened to the late, great Nev Chandler and Doug Dieken in my room as the stadium was going bezerk! One little thing I have always enjoyed is Bernie getting a SB ring before a certain previous owner. I believe Bernie should smash the guitar in the home opener which by the way is against the team who he won his SB ring with & can’t ever forget the classic U of Miami vs. BC classic. One of the greatest college football games ever played. Continued prayers and thoughts to BK each and everyday. UMatter!

  2. I remember seeing you, Mike Baab etc in ‘87. At John Carroll- playing around and signing autographs- I got boxer shorts to prove it! Thinking of you and your family

  3. Stay strong BK! You can beat this. 👍.My favorite memory was anytime you beat that team from Pennsylvania.
