Future for Baldwin Wallace University Bowling Teams

Baldwin Wallace University bowling teams are changing and so will their future seasons. An expanding roster and newly signed coaches are ready to reign in wins for the Yellow Jackets.

The newly hired head coaches are David Johnson and Paul Ashby from Notre Dame College. Since the closure of Notre Dame, they were able to secure head coach positions at Baldwin Wallace because of their extensive and impressive coaching careers.

Head Coaches

David Johnson served as head coach for an extensive number of years for Ohio State University and Hilliard Bradley High School, also one year for Notre Dame College. He also led his teams to countless championships with his years of experience.

Paul Ashby served nine seasons as Notre Dame College’s head coach. He led the Falcons to victory for over six years. He is also a professional bowler who won championships.

Of course, this is only a summary of Johnson and Ashby bowling careers as they both accomplished the unspeakable who grew up bowling themselves from an early age.

Yellow Jackets

Last season, the Yellow Jackets had a rocky finish in the conferences. However, this season is expected to be different, thanks to the newly signed coaches and an expanding roster. The roster, which includes seven or eight fresh players for both men’s and women’s bowling team from Notre Dame College, has yet to be officially released, but it promises to bring new talent to Baldwin Wallace.

These fresh players are expected to combine with the existing team, creating a unique dynamic unit, as they bring a prominent level of skills and competitive experience to Baldwin Wallace.

As said above, the roster has not been released yet, but also their 2024-2025 bowling schedule has not been released yet either, which builds up anticipation from the fans when it is finally released.
